Your cozy, online, community-driven, book-writing haven.

Virtual retreats with writing & mindset workshops, access to book coaches, gamified inspiration, community with fellow writers, and plenty of structured writing time.

Online write-ins kept plain and simple: meet with your fellow creatives to make progress on your project! Chat during breaks or stay on mute and keep typing away—your choice.

Book coaches Katherine and Sage are on stand-by to chat with you about your book, your process, or your mindset needs!

Bookish deep-dives, trope talk, spicy opinions, and unfiltered banter. While fantasy is our first love, we’re genre-fluid. If it’s in a book, it’s on the table.

    • Ink Retreat Attendee

"The Book Dragon Ink Retreat was an incredible opportunity for writers like me to lock themselves in a writing camp and throw away the key - be inspired with ideas and craft tips all in the privacy of our own writing nook; no flights to catch, no baggage to haul, just sunny writing weather all around!"

    • Tali – an Ink Retreat Attendee

“This retreat is a treat — serious pun intended. These three excellent facilitators work in great harmony to bring their unique approach to the participants. The result is immersive, productive, and, most importantly, tangible. This is a great opportunity to break the monotony of the lonely journey, learn great tools to write with joy and clarity, ask any craft questions, and meet your fellow writers in a supportive setting.”

    • Jessi – a Coaching Client of Katherine's

“Kat … considers and understands my process as a writer. She's not shoving her own methods into my brain, instead, her suggestions are always tailored for the way I learn and write. She's allotted time for me to express myself, discuss my writing, and ask my questions. [It’s] an actual discussion between student and mentor, to improve not only my book, but also my writing and my process. I was honestly really shy about it at first, but Kat is lovely, friendly, and cheerful!”

    • Nienke – an Ink Retreat Attendee

"I popped in [to the coaching hours] when I realized I couldn't break through a bit of writer's block, and Sage talked me through it and reminded be that I'm not beholden to writing prose. I can outline or brain dump. I did that, and then I felt more comfortable going back to prose. I did fumble through describing my story, but Sage was really nice, helped me feel comfortable, and understood how I was feeling."

    • Streeper – an Ink Retreat Attendee

“This writing retreat was fun, informative and I got so much writing done. I took advantage of the book coach and developmental editor sessions and they were insightful and encouraging. I'm looking forward to future Ink Retreats!"

    • Yvonne – an Ink Retreat Attendee

I have been feeling discouraged and overwhelmed about my writing, and this retreat was just what I needed to get back into a writing groove. I came out of day 1 feeling excited and eager to get going, and I came out of day 2 feeling encouraged and inspired."
