March Ink Retreat: Trove

One-and-a-half days of support and community to help you find clarity on your next steps and take action, so you end your day satisfied about where you are in your manuscript.

Get what you need all in one place: community, coaching, and creative flow.

3/27: 9 am – 12 pm PT (with additional writing sprints with WWMZB from 1–3 pm PT)
3/28: 9 am – 3 pm PT
(Here's a handy time-converter if you need it!)

Day 1:

We host a 3-hour session to get you and your manuscript prepared for the following day so that you won’t end up stuck in the weeds.

This includes 2 workshops from Sage and Katherine created to do two or more of the following: help you identify areas of your book to work on, create a clear plan for your writing the following day and beyond, find the heart of your story and really get to know your book, help yourself understand where the story starts and where it ends, and make friends with your inner critic.

You’ll have a chance to introduce yourself and your manuscript to fellow retreat attendees, as well as time to make an informed plan for the following day of writing, through guidance by our knowledgable book coaches.

Day 2:

This 6-hour day is full of inspiration, accountability, and most importantly, writing.

While your bum is not required to be in a seat, this is the day where we will help you kindle your motivational fire and stay obsessed with your story.

You’ll have access to book coaches with editorial expertise for all of your burning questions—from brainstorming plot hole fillers to implementing revisions—and for accountability should you want it.

We’ll also host a writer’s-block-busting game to spark your creativity! This has been helpful for reconnecting writers with their stories, figuring out a good plot twist, and developing a new character for readers to fall in love with.

This retreat is a treat — serious pun intended.

These three excellent facilitators work in great harmony to bring their unique approach to the participants. The result is immersive, productive, and, most importantly, tangible. This is a great opportunity to break the monotony of the lonely journey, learn great tools to write with joy and clarity, ask any craft questions, and meet your fellow writers in a supportive setting.
